KERGROADEZ,
A SUSTAINABLE STORY
Since 2000, a human, cultural and tourism project has been developing at Kergroadez – in the heart of the Pays d’Iroise – so that the castle can meet again its original vocation – to be a place of exchange and community life, a veritable conservatory of social links. The estate, which is open to all, hosts a wide range of events and original tours, enabling visitors of all ages to discover the site according to their own interests…
To ensure the long-term success of the project, and to enable visitors to contribute to the life of the castle, it is essential to be accompanied by a tourist ecosystem known as La Route des Pingouins, which extends in Brittany. Deeply rooted in the region, it is made up of complementary activities: events, transport, accommodation – hotels and stopover gîtes – and catering.
