<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Since 2000, a human, cultural and tourism project has been developing at Kergroadez \u2013 in the heart of the Pays d\u2019Iroise \u2013 so that the castle can meet again its original vocation \u2013 to be a place of exchange and community life, a veritable conservatory of social links. The estate, which is open to all, hosts a wide range of events and original tours, enabling visitors of all ages to discover the site according to their own interests\u2026<\/p>\n
To ensure the long-term success of the project, and to enable visitors to contribute to the life of the castle, it is essential to be accompanied by a tourist ecosystem known as La Route des Pingouins, which extends in Brittany. Deeply rooted in the region, it is made up of complementary activities: events, transport, accommodation \u2013 hotels and stopover g\u00eetes \u2013 and catering.<\/p>\n<\/div>

On an essential stop on the GR34 \u2013 the lighthouse of l’\u00cele Vierge \u2013 a new hostel along the Route des Pingouins.<\/p>\n
In the town center of Lilia-Plouguerneau, in the shadow of the church, the buildings of the fishing school \u2013 an annex of the Aber Wrac\u2019h maritime apprenticeship school \u2013 created after World War II by Abb\u00e9 Pierre Cornec, have just been completely renovated to welcome the Les Pingouins du Phare hostel.<\/p>\n
The building offers 15 sleeping accommodations and a large dining room.
\nEach of the 7 rooms, decorated with the assistance of the Plouguerneau ecomuseum, recalls the initial educational and maritime vocation of the place by showcasing the old trades of the Pays d\u2019Iroise.<\/p>\n

Voluntary exiles in the heart of nature \u2013 a unique opportunity to stay on an islet in the middle of nowhere\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\nTwo cottages, each accommodating 8 people and inspired by mountain refuges, allow you to spend one or two unforgettable nights in tranquility amidst the ocean in a natural and atypical environment.<\/p>\n
Supported by the municipality of Mol\u00e8ne and managed by the Route des Pingouins, this cottage project aims to rehabilitate a set of seaweed gatherers\u2019 houses to preserve the last elements of this type of heritage and give them a new purpose at the heart of the ecosystems and landscapes of Iroise, while also supporting employment on the island.<\/p>\n
